EU-Initiatives

EU-Initiatives are projects funded by the European Commission, in which FFG is partner or coordinator.

The main goal of these EU-Initiatives is the encouragement and support of specific target groups in their participation in the EU Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development.

Within the framework of such EU-Initiatives FFG offers specific support actions for project submitters/proposers, such as partner-search databases, trainings or partnering events.

In the field of ICT FFG is partner in the following projects:

Ideal-ist

Ideal-ist is the first quality-labeled international ICT partner search network, part-funded by the European Commission. Ideal-ist supports ICT research organisations and companies worldwide to find partners for their project ideas, to join projects or to find services which help to succeed in FP7.

 
 

EPISTEP

EPISTEP aims to assist SME participation in the Sixth and Seventh Framework Programmes with the objective of enhancing their presence in the ICT European Technology Platforms (ETP)
 
 

EuroRIs-Net

EuroRIs-Net is the network of all National Contact Points for Research-Infrastructures in the EU and beyond. Within the network, new and inexperienced NCPs are trained by well experienced colleagues.  The network also aims at giving detailed, high quality answers to questions of researchers. EuroRIs-Net is part-funded by the European Commission.
