Scientists, and science funding agencies, are always trying to sell people on how great science is. Science is cool, they will tell you. Science is hip!

This has possibly generated enough naff videos, advertising, websites and, yes, magazine articles to turn millions of kids off the stuff - because let's face it, nothing makes something uncool faster than being told breathlessly how cool it is.

That said, this attempt (see the embedded video below) is kinda fun, even though it was made, incredibly, for the usually cool-challenged European Commission, in an effort to influence students' career choices science-ward.
