Role in desired project: research and dissemination

Expertise offered: Internationally recognised expertise on electrochemistry and surface analysis. Several years working in the field of biomedical materials, with special attention for the effect of ion release in biocompatibility. As a partner, the group could characterise modified/functionalized surfaces with enhanced biocompatibility and endothelialisation, looking at the corrosion properties and metallic ion release (corrosion studies and surface analysis – XPS, Auger).
