Security related research is an important building block for supporting European freedom, security and justice. It will also contribute to developing technologies and capabilities in support of other European Community policies in areas such as ICT, transport, civil protection, energy, environment and health.

Researchers and research organisations in the field of Security located outside Austria can get support by FFG in finding Austrian project partners. EU-Initiatives, databases and competence catalogues list profiles of Austrian researchers, research institutions and research-intensive SMEs.
